Welcome to our Blog

The Alpharetta Methodist Students will be taking a team of high schoolers and adult volunteers back to Ecuador from June 13th to the 22nd! This blog will keep you updated on the preparations and activities throughout the journey. Throughout the trip, team members will share their experiences and the ways they witness God working in and around them. Like years past, our team will be serving at the Dunamis girls home and the Antioch School with Jungle Kids for Christ. Stay tuned for more posts as we prepare for this amazing opportunity!

Prayer

Below are a list of some prayer requests as we prepare for this trip. We would love it if you all would join us in praying over these topics.

Prayer for preparation. That all logistics would continue to get worked out as well as the preparation of hearts for such a great opportunity.
Prayer for safety. From safe travels to safety on our worksites, we would love for you to join us as we pray against any accidents on this trip.
Prayer for hearts. This trip has the chance to change hearts. With how much God moves during the time on worksites and throughout the downtime, we are praying for hearts to be receptive to whatever God is going to do.
Prayer for Dunamis and Jungle Kids for Christ. We encourage you all to join us as we pray for our mission partners. We want to pray for energy and that the Lord continues to sustain them as they faithfully serve the communities and the Kingdom of God.
